Produced by Fraser-Volpe, the MARS (Multi-Purpose Aiming Reflex Sight) combines the advantages of a quick-reaction red-dot sight with a user-controlled aiming laser. MARS also includes a 1x magnification, sight exit aperture at 25 mm, a 0.3-meter Rad (about 1-inch at 100 meters) reflex dot diameter and <0.2-meter Rad at infinity. Its dot intensity can be controlled to 5 different positions: off, high, medium, low and very low.
Features of the MARS include:
- Reflex sight, solid prism not holographic
- Quick release mount on Picatinny rail
- Easy zeroing of Reflex Sight and Laser with single adjustment
- Coated optics without glare or corona affect in the sight window
- Undetectable aiming dot with NVGs from the front
- Replaces multiple “bolt on” components
- World-wide military and law enforcement usage
